NOS review 2021/22 - Supply Chain Management

The Supply Chain Management involves arranging developing supply chain strategies for the organisation, planning the storage of supplies, establish and maintain operational relationships within the supply chain, establishing requirements for the storage of supplies, scheduling distribution of supplies and much more.

The NOS contains the skills and knowledge for someone working within Supply Chain Management to work competently to an agreed National Standard.

The last full review of the NOS took place in 2017 and another review is now needed to keep pace with the rapid rate of change and technological advances within the industry. As well as to reflect any changes to the sector which have come about due to Brexit and the pandemic.

If you work in the Supply Chain industry you can help by completing a short questionnaire to collect information on what is new and important in the industry. You can remain anonymous but it would be really helpful if you would provide contact details so we can get your further opinion on the proposed revisions to the NOS to ensure they meet industry requirements.
